Philharmonie de Paris

Branding, typography

This redesign of the Philharmonie’s identity was born of the institution’s desire to present a fresh, accessible image, and to reflect its increasingly eclectic programme.
It is built around a custom typography, the Philharmonique, which is associated with a serif typeface : the pairing between the titles’ modernity and the relative classicism of the texts expresses the diversity of the programming, never confined to one style or another.
The new identity also features a broad palette of colors : combined in pairs, they lend a more accessible and playful image to the institution.
Last but not least, the posters are redesigned for better recognition and, above all, to be extremely flexible.
