These posters were produced as part of the “Futurs désirables” competition, which gives creatives the opportunity to imagine a positive, inspiring and desirable future.

 Energy, today and tomorrow, is an issue.
What it costs, how much we consume, how we produce it... Some advocate drastic restrictions, others are looking for new ways to produce it. What if our energy - human energy - could become one of these new sources?
In the near future, we will probably have succeeded in creating electrical transformers able to multiply human-generated energy tenfold. Researchers and entrepreneurs are currently developing machines that capture this energy and supply electricity to small artefacts. So we can easily believe that this rapid progress might transform our daily lives in the near future. 
Perhaps in 10 years’ time, we will present Volta to you : the first network of gyms where results are visible from the very first effort. Equipped with machines and weights that multiply the energy created by their users, they’re not only self-sufficient, they help powering the city.
